Well, I have now completed the rough draft of my thesis! I am so relieved! I will probably submit it later today, but I did want to give it 24 hours before I sent it in, so I can have one last read thru of the final chapter. I know it's really rough, but hey...at this point, I really don't care, I just want to get it in!!
Secondly I was sitting beside the swimming pool at the Intercon yesterday and someone I've known for years, from Holland, was asking me about this upcoming trip. One thing lead to another, and she's quite interested in going herself. Her name is Martine (Mar teen) and I would guess she's about our age Lori. I will keep her posted as we do prepare for our trip, but she's very interested, in not only the climb, but the safari as well.
I guess that's about it for now, but I'm just basking in the sense of relief I'm now experiencing as I realize I don't have to write anymore!! At least temporarily...until the feedback starts arriving and they tell me what I have to change. I'll just enjoy it for now.
Wow! Congrats on your rough draft - another benchmark! You have a right to celebrate! And that's good news about Martine. The climb accommodations are in pairs, so with the addition of your friend Nancy and now Martine, we'll have four for the climb, and five for the safari since Paul is going to join us there. Great news all around Nancy! Thanks for the update.
