I'm so impressed with your press release and your shopping adventure. I'm afraid I've neglected this site lately because I've had so much going on here at work and trying to finish my dissertation. Also, as you mentioned, Nancy D is in Canada now and will return next week, so the 2 of us will get busy and try to catch up with you Lori ASAP.
I'm headed to Dubai tomorrow to an outdoor shop and although I didn't make an appointment, I'm hopeful there will be someone there to help me as much as you were helped Lori. It's an outdoor shop that sells ski equipment, and is right next door to the Sky Dubai, the indoor snow skiing place, so hopefully they'll have not only that type of gear, but all sorts of outdoor stuff. I'm a bit limited here as to my choices, so might just have to order stuff from the states, and when a friend goes home in January, might have it shipped to her, and then she can bring it back for me.
Tom, I am so impressed and thanks so much for your support. It is indeed a worthy cause and we appreciate it.
