Dear Friends, Lynn and I will be making a 19, 340 foot climb to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro starting on July 11, 2010, and you can help us make our climb one footprint at a time and at the same time, honor or remember those you know and love who have been touched by cancer. Our goal is to take at least 19,340 names with us to the summit and all you have to do is donate $2.00 (per foot/per name) to the American Cancer Society Mountain Climber Team. When you make your donation, please indicate how many feet you wish to purchase and the name to be listed on each. Each name will be written on an individual footprint and displayed at the 2010 Relay For Life Mountain Climber Team area during this year's Relay for Life and will also be listed on a banner that will travel with us to the Mt. Kilimanjaro summit.
Local Champaign/Urbana folks, we hope to have footprints available for purchase in Champaign downtown area businesses. A list of those businesses will be available soon.
Note that all profits will be donated to the American Cancer Society through the Mountain Climber Relay for Life Team and all donations are tax deductible.
